Cheesy Breakfast Pizza

Indulge the pizza lover in you at breakfast time! After preheating your oven to 200 degrees Celsius, mix hash browns, 2 eggs and ½ cup of shredded cheddar into a large bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spray a pizza pan (or baking sheet) and add your mixture. Bake in your preheated oven for 20 minutes or until it’s a beautiful golden color. Then, in a large skillet cook bacon until it’s crispy and transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Try not to steal a piece of bacon! Top your now baked crust with another half cup of cheese and 4 more eggs. Crumble your bacon and scatter on top with a little bit more salt and pepper. Bake for an additional 15 minutes or to the preferred consistency of your egg whites. Garnish with the chives.

Idaho Sunrise

"Though I am not good at cooking, I tried this recipe and I must say it was simple and kinda awesome. Suggested a restaurant owner to add in the menu :)" - Alex

Forget about the hash browns and have a real potato! Bake your potatoes until they’re almost finished, but not quite. Cut off the top of each potato and scoop out the middle with a spoon. Add a ½ tablespoon of butter into your potato bowls followed by a gently broken egg. Top off with the bacon, your favorite cheese, parsley and a little bit of salt and pepper. Place into an oven at 177 degrees Celsius for about 20-25 minutes. This amazingly simple dish will take a bit longer if you are baking your potato specifically for this, but if you have left over baked potatoes from dinner then it’s even easier!

Simple and tasty in 30 minutes!

Egg Ring Set of 4 Blue

Whole Egg, Bacon and Avocado Quesadilla

Such a quick, healthy and delicious breakfast! Love it :) – Mary

Easy but perfect, you’ll love this quick dish! Cook your bacon to whatever crispiness your heart desires in a skillet over high heat. Remove the bacon and place on a paper towel-lined plate. Also remove the excess fat and any black bits from the skillet. On medium heat, place a flour tortilla in the skillet. Arrange avocado slices around the rim of half of the tortilla effectively creating a ring to prevent the egg from leaking. Crack an egg into the middle of the ring and sprinkle with pieces of your bacon, cheese and a bit of salt and pepper. Fold the empty half of the tortilla over and cook until it’s golden and crispy. Flip but be careful not to spill the tasty contents! Cook again to the same golden color and crispiness. Serve while hot with some salsa for spiciness!

Enjoy this in just 20 minutes!

Breakfast Flowers

Who doesn’t love flowers in the morning? Now you can eat them! To make your breakfast flowers, start by preheating your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Then spray 8 large muffin cups with a layer of oil and put a wonton wrapper into each cup. Add a second wonton wrapper but at an angle so that the edges of the two wrappers create your flower. Sprinkle a teaspoon of grated parmesan cheese into each cup followed by a gently broken egg. Top with diced ham, the sliced shallots and sprinkle with pepper. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until you have golden wrappers and your eggs are set. Enjoy!

Only 15-20 minutes for your fun treat!

Poached Eggs Caprese

Poached Eggs Caprese

"Loved it! This is a definite make-again!" - Cynthia

A tasty twist on eggs Benedict! After boiling 2-3 inches of water in a large saucepan over high heat, reduce to medium-low and add the vinegar and 2 teaspoons of salt. Don’t let it get too hot, just a gentle simmer. On each half of an English muffin, place a slice of mozzarella cheese and a slice of tomato, however thick you would like. Toast in a toaster oven until your cheese is soft and the muffin is toasted. Should only be about 5 minutes. Crack an egg into the bowl and very gently slip the egg into the simmering water. Add the other three eggs in the same manner and poach until your whites are firm and your yolks are thick or approximately 2-3 minutes. Take the egg out of the water using a slotted spoon and remove any excess water with a clean towel. Place the perfectly poached egg onto the English muffin with a spoon fool of pesto on each egg. Sprinkle with a bit of salt and your caprese is ready!

20 minutes to cook, seconds to enjoy!

Huevos Rancheros

Perfect for a Mexican-style breakfast! In a medium-sized skillet with vegetable oil, sauté diced jalapeno and garlic cloves with just a tiny bit of cumin. Pour in a can of crushed tomatoes and a tablespoon of chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Simmer until the salsa is thick and gently pour your cracked eggs into the mixture. That’s right, we’re going to poach the egg in our salsa! Once the egg white has set, remove from the heat and serve on a tortilla. It’s recommended that you first warm up your tortilla on a clean skillet. Add some queso for cheesiness!

Pocket Eggs with Soy-Sesame Sauce

"Awesome, ready in minutes as well, a great weeknight meal. The black sesame seeds are great, I'll definitely try them in other dishes now." - Anonymous

A Chinese twist on breakfast that you will make again and again! In a small bowl, make your sauce by mixing 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil, 1 ½ teaspoons of rice vinegar and a tablespoon of minced scallion greens. Set your sauce aside. In a medium skillet, heat 4 teaspoons of canola oil. Crack two eggs into a small bowl and two more eggs into another small bowl. You’re going to pour 2 eggs into one side of the pan and quickly pour the other 2 eggs into the opposite side of the pan. The eggs should flow towards each other creating one large piece. Take two teaspoons of black sesame seeds, 1 tablespoon of dried basil and ¼ teaspoon of pepper and sprinkle onto the combined eggs. Cook for about 3 minutes and carefully flip over. Cook each side until they’re crispy and brown. Pour the delicious sauce created earlier and simmer for another 30 seconds and flip again to do the same on the other side. You’re ready to eat! Rice is optional but recommended!

Baked Tomato and Egg Cups

Baked Tomato and Egg Cups

"This was absolutely delicious! It’s a great way to spruce up baked eggs!" - Irene

Tomatoes at breakfast are underrated and if you agree you will love this! Get your oven ready at 230 degrees Celsius. Cut three extra-large Roma tomatoes in half and remove the seeds. Place them on a baking sheet and carefully crack an egg into each tomato half. If you have trouble balancing, you might remove a small slice from the bottom. Sprinkle salt and pepper to your liking. If you want to spice it up, add dried red pepper flakes. Depending on your desired egg consistency, bake for 6-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and place your fresh herbs on top. Can be served as is or on top of a piece of buttered toast.

Couldn’t be simpler and it’s just 12 minutes!
